Although it was originally called freezing time, it was later learned that this power didn't actually do that. It is still the most common thing for the sisters to call this power.

Description[]

Although it didn't actually freeze time and instead slows down molecules, the Charmed Ones continued to call it "freezing". Some fans call it molecular immobilization, a descriptive term that became canon for the comics when it was used in The Sourcebook. It is also known as slowing down mulecules, because it is the ability to slow down molecules to the point where they move so slowly that objects and people appear completely motionless.
